Traditionally, movies based off of video games are for the most part crap. However, Hitman wasn't all that bad; just watched it. Compared to most game adapted films, it's an improvement. I'd would also say the same for Silent Hill. These aren't great films but they're entertaining and very well adapted. Who knows, maybe one day we'll get game adaptation gold.
Game-go-movie film makers like Uwe Boll, who brought us such pieces of junk like House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, BloodRayne I & II, and all the other crap he will make... well he's done a lot to hurt the reputation of game-go-movies. Well, he made another game-go-movie of Postal... haha, actually, I saw a clip of it, and the clip itself wasn't that bad (though it's also probably the best part of the movie)...

Oh man, I'd hate to be the person that gets yelled at for allowing that to screen in theaters or end up on DVD. As for Uwe Boll... well, I'm sure he's been yelled at enough by now, if not for this but for all the other crap he's maid.
