Bloomsbury Favorite Character Poll

Bloomsbury is doing a poll where you can vote for your favorite character from the Harry Potter books:

I'm puzzled about their description of my favorite character: "He hates Harry Potter". In the books I read, Severus Snape loves Harry so much that he offers up everything-including his soul-for him and the cause of light.

Did I get a defective copies of the books?!?!
