Going to be an interesting week
Ubercon is this weekend and I do plan on attending. Also, this weekend is the Jersey City studio art and music tour. I hope to come back Saturday afternoon for a couple of hours to enjoy that, as well. Maybe I can drag someone along with me to enjoy some local art and music and entertainment.
Haven't been to Ubercon since last October, and I just realized, if there's a costume party, I have no costume. I suppose I could hammer something together. I dunno.
Mets lost again tonight. Damn. Rach (roomie) is upset about it. I would like to see them win, myself. Think Mr Green is my favorite Met, looks wise anyhow. Play wise I like Beltran, and he's no slouch in the pretty department, either. I have always liked Jewish men, and add 6'4" and lovely, soft curly hair to that, and well, that's like a man made for Gloria. They're the chosen people, right? Can I choose that one?
Think I strained a bum muscle at the gym today. I was kind of cold, and I thought I warmed up enough, but I may have warmed up too vigorously. Damn. I ran only 1.5 miles because my right gluteal muscle started feeling a bit stretchy-tight during the run. I think I should have warmed up extra and maybe stretched a bit more beforehand. I'd been out walking for at least an hour in the cold and rain, and, in fact, my feet were soaked and I was squishing around a bit in my shoes while working out. Damn. Again. I'll put some stuff on my right cheek and take an Aleve. Hopefully it will be fine tomorrow for an after-work workout, as it was to be my all-cardio.
There's a decidedly chilly breeze coming in through the window in the office. I keep it cracked at least due to the cat box is here. Really, there is no smell from it as I keep it cleaned at least every other day if not daily (clumping), but why take chances? I like fresh air anyhow.
I can't breath, but at least the 24-hour thing I had went its course. I woke with a nasty sore throat yesterday and was glassy-eyed and flushed when I got to work last night, but I felt 100% better once I got off work. Today I just have the stuffy nose from swollen sinuses. Joy.
I need a fun, cool date out to someplace very nice soon. I want to wear my new duster.

OH! And my new favorite cd is Lily Allen-Alright, Still. Kind of pop for my taste, but it's like English rap, really, and she's a bad girl...
