Early Bday fun
I think it's ex day, but we'll get to that.
Unpacked some stuff last night and today, got my room a little better, office, too. Had lunch with Mark S and hung out for a bit with him before work. It was a rainy night, so we weren't particularly busy, oh well. Paul called me while I was working, I think 3 times in an hour, definitely twice. Left a message with his number saying he wasn't sure if I'd destroyed his number already or whatnot. Wanted to know what I am up to and to please call him. It wasn't a booty call, so I wonder what prompted it. Guilt? Loneliness? I might call him in a day or so. I'm still thinking about it. Talk about timing, huh? Mark isn't a boyfriend or anything, but we're certainly circling around each other so to speak.
Then Jim comes in for the first time in months. He looks very well, and it was cool to see him. I don't miss him much, but then the last few months he was coming in he was a total mess, yah? I said if Zach or Greg called or came in then it was a sign. A sign of what, I don't know, but a sign.
Then Darniss and Patrick tell me they'd been planning something for my bday but then I started sort of planning stuff for Wednesday recently, and Dar might have a family thing so she can't hang on Wed (her daughter's stuff), so they decided to give me my present tonight instead, as she might not see me. She remembered I'd said I wanted one and that I was thinking about getting myself one as it isn't the sort of thing you can expect your friends to buy you: an Ipod!! I got a nano!! Yay!! It's black and very pretty and engraved with Happy Birthday to me!! What a badass present!! I'm really really happy about it, because I really, really wanted one! They are so great! Love them!
Loading songs onto it as we speak, yesh. Now bed. Yesh. Very, very tired, yeeeeeshhhh...
Oh, and if you want to hang on my bday, send me a message. After work, most likely JC to make things easy on me, really, around 8ish. Maybe Baha? Tequila boats!
