It's been a while, so here's updates on Gloria's boring life

Not too much is happening, other than what I've mentioned before, to be honest.

Rachael and I are still looking at apartments, and hopefully we'll find a perfect one, soon. We're looking at a nice duplex 2BR today, and wouldn't it be lovely if that were the one?? Tomorrow we're looking at another, and we still have a few we've been thinking about from previous weeks. I have to start packing and moving things into the storage room in the basement. It will make it easier to move. I'm going to get some cheap movers for this time, and leave smaller, lighter, fragile things for me. I'll just pack it and carry stuff down every day, and then get rid of some stuff while I'm at it. If my bedroom is large enough, I MIGHT try to get a cali king bed for my head and footboard that I've carried with me since Texas. Or maybe not. I'll decide shortly.

Last night I had what is probably my last dinner party in this apartment. I served grilled, marinated sirloin, cut to make tacos with, grilled flounder with a cilantro, mint, chili, tequila sauce and lettuce leaves to make wraps if you didn't want tacos, tequila Mexican beans, marinated baby bellas, grilled spiced zucchini, and Jeff and his gf brought over Texas queso dip. I broke out my colorful, clear bbq plates and glasses for the occasion. It was a lot of fun. Drinking, eating, chatting, then going to the Merchant and giving Sue a big bag of food because she couldn't come due to work.

Anne-Marie brought me McViddie's digestibles from Ireland...yum!!! I love those! It's so nice that she remembers that I love them even when I was one of the few people that didn't request something specifically from her while home.

I have to get tickets to Chicago so I can go to Simon's wedding. I also have to get the wedding favors finished. I want to get them done asap. I'm running out of time, and I have to do them, pack, move, go to the wedding, I think I might go insane.

I'm going to call him shortly.
