Holiday work
I'm watching Rosie lose it over a foam packing peanut on the floor. She's a silly cat.
Had the Merchant Christmas party on Sunday, the one for the customers. It was fun, got really, really drunk, as per Anne Marie's instruction. I figure she's my boss; I gotta do what she says at work, right? We had a freaking blast. It was a great party. Zach tried to pick a fight with Jim, men, and apparently Zach and I snogged at some point. I don't remember that, nor does he. I think what happened is this person came in that he doesn't want to bother him and she probably said something to him and maybe flirted or some shit and he came running over "Oh my God, ****** is here!!!" I remember that. I can see him seeing her walking in our direction and grabbing me saying kiss me or something, hurry! Eh, it's a Christmas party. If you don't kiss someone it just ain't the same. Besides he is my ex so, you know, been there. I did get some crap over it on Monday, but as I said, I don't remember. Oops? Free drinks all night will do that.
Got all the orders out, finally. Between the extra hours at the bar, the parties I'm required to attend, normal every day stuff like cleaning and laundry and errands and stuff, it was getting tough. I'm changing a few things, too. The packaging is now different, and the sizes are changing. All bars will be bigger, but the price is going up and there will only be 2 prices, probably. I hope to introduce the other stuff in January, or at the latest February.
Got invited to a party on Thursday. I'm everyone's date for parties this year. That's one good thing to being unattached, I guess. I can help out friends and have free drinks...again.
I'm spending Christmas here. I found at least one other "orphan" to hang with on the day. I am going to try to go to midnight Mass on Saturday night and then go have drinks at a bar in Hoboken. Unfortunately, might be with Jim because his is one of the only bars open that night. We'll see. I'm still not all that comfortable with him. (in other words, still disappointed and unhappy with him) Anyone stuck in this area alone on the 25th or 24th? Let me know; maybe you can hang with us. I have tree.
Waiting on Alex to call me so he can drive me to get my phone from joe_sunday's. I left it at Pete and Rachel's last week and they gave it to him, and now I have to get it from ...ugh. Headache.
Wish I were off tomorrow, but then, I'm off after tomorrow until next Monday, so eh, I shouldn't bitch.
