Surgery on a holiday again. Oy.
I'm having my surgery tomorrow morning. What a pain in the, well, nose, I guess.
I have to be there at 7am. I get off work close to 3am. This means I probably won't get to sleep. I've been trying to figure out a public transport way of getting there, but there isn't one. Maybe take the Path to Newark Penn and then a taxi? Or get a taxi from here? I don't know.
Now, it looks like I'll get out around 1 to 3pm. What? I have to be there from 7am to 3? Really? Dear lord. I was at the hospital less time for MAJOR surgery. Well, 6ish hours maybe 7 tops. 8 hours for minor surgery. Blows.
The problem here is if I get out at 3, then Sam can't pick me up. She has to be in the city by 4pm to work. I would ask Patrick, but he's going to be on his way to Baltimore for the weekend. I can't ask Anne-Marie because she'll be working. Rebecca said she'd pick me up if need be. I may have to ask her to because she doesn't have to be at work until 7pm.
You think I'd have gotten a bf or something since the last surgery so that I would have someone unconditionally there. Oh, well. I hope I can Path it out and taxi from there for less. Otherwise, it's at least $40 plus tip for a taxi from here.
