another year into hag-dom...
thanks to ya'll for your birthday wishes! yes i am more of a 'grown up' now...the big 2-fuckin-3.
went to the folks for dinner last night. eldest bro john and my cuz-bro michael came around as well. mum insisted we wait for andy. he showed up an hour late. to be honest, i don't give a shit as we've never really gotten along. and this shit happens every year. everyone being uncomfortable with having to be nice to one another. it's all just so mum can feel like she has a family that actually half likes each other. anyway so yeah, andy arrives and doesn't say hello to anyone. dad had to leave for work after dinner. mum made a beautiful cake... andy just stands there with his arms folded and doesn't say a peep when they were singing happy birthday. mum goes off at andy. john goes off at andy. i sit back in my chair and drink my wine. andy goes off at both of them. etc etc... andy storms out. mum complains about andy all night. the thing is he does this shit every year, and it's like she's only just noticed. (cos lately i am totes the golden child hahah) I reckon he's just shitty with me cos i told the folks that he had his ex girlfriend over while they were away.
today was a stinker and took mum out to camden for lunch (was her birthday today)... had a better day today anyway.
it's semi relief today as it's the maximum amount of days until it all happens again!
