ok....so i haven't written in this sorry excuse for a journal in soooooooooo long. what's up with me? seems like myspace is the new lj. so here are a lot of random thoughts.
i'm moving to silverlake which i'm excited about. i hope i actually do stuff there and make some new friends. i want to bike more and go on hikes.
i want to make my studio look cute. i want to get my elementary credential and actually start teaching in the fall (fingers crossed).
i think the new shins song is good, but people are raving too much about them. they are the new death cab for cutie in terms of indie mainstream darlings. i'm already tired of the new song and i'm not sure if i'm gonna buy the new album.
i dont like the new clap your hands song and i never even listened through the entire first album, so maybe i'm not being fair.
the new issue of domino is cool because it show's makino and amadeo's apartment (of blonde redhead) and has a blurb about their home furnishing style.
man, coachella's line up is good. too bad it's spread over 3 days. they never put all the good bands on one bill. i hate festivals though, especially when they're in the desert during the summer. who's going to this? i still dream of seeing bjork up close although i'm not sure that's going to happen. why is it so expensive?!!!
maybe i should go to pitchfork's intonation festival instead, it's a better value.
i despise packing and cleaning, and i'll probably despise unpacking as well.
gosh, i want oki dogs to happen! i better bust out that bass!
