I'm glad that I have attended the funeral of Brother Leung last night. Our fellowship has presented a hymn on the funeral but only 8 members (including me) were available to sing the hymn, because one sister had to play the piano, one sister had to be the receptionist, and one sister was late because of overtime work. Actually the number of people who will attend our church's gathering is becoming less and less, because most people are too busy with their work, and there are too many temptations from the world. If I didn't go, there would be too few people to sing the hymn. ^^::
I can't say our performance is good, but at least we had not made big mistakes, except that Wilson has forgot to pause for a line, and we all heard him singing solo for at least five syllables before he knew he should stop singing at that part of the song.
We had taken a look at Brother Leung's portrait at the end of the ceremony. Thanks God, he looked so peaceful. I heard from Pastor Wong that even though he had suffered from great pain for the last week of his life, he was very peaceful the time he died. Knowing where one would go after death is crucial. I heard some testimony that some Christians will see God welcoming them to heaven when they are about to leave the world.
However, Mrs. Leung (Brother Leung's wife) is very sorrowful. I hope she will believe in the same God so that there will always be hopes in her life.
