Kind of a short post, not too much detail, just so you know we're still alive. On Thursday we had day 2 of Comic Con, we almost missed the White Collar panel cos the line was so long, but we got in the last row. It was awesome, but not as awesome as the Psych panel afterwards - which had an accoustic version of the Shout song they sung on the show, with the original guy who did the song playing the guitar. There was also tapdancing. Lainy and Jessica missed that one to try and get in to the Joss Whedon, JJ ABrams panel but the line was so long, however they got in to see the Expendables panel with Stallone and the Scott Pilgrim panel and lots of love was had by all.
Then Friday (yesterday), we tried to get in super early, but the shuttle was 40 minutes late - we were not impressed. We still got there in time to line up for Ballroom 20, and even though we seemed really far back in the line, we got quite close to the front of the room. We watched Stargate Universe (David Blue and Ming Na were adorable), Caprica (which we didn't want to see really, but James Marsters were an awesome suprise guest), Big Bang Theory (yaaaay! They gave out lyric pages and got the Bare Naked Ladies out to get the whole crowd to sing the theme song together. Everyone was full of win), Bones (David Boreanaz and Emily Deshchel or however you spell her name were both cute, and Kathy Reichs made a special appearance at the end too), Joss Whedon (which had Nathan Fillion in full moustache-and-hat disguise asking a question at the end) and a panel called Girls Who Kick Ass with a bunch of actresses who play kick-ass chicks (very interesting).
Anyway, writing this at the crack of dawn cos we're about to walk down to get in the mammoth line for Hall H so we can be amazed all day. No relying on the shuttle this time! Possibly will get more detailed squeeing about the con on Sunday after it's done cos we're all dead on our feet with no time! Gonna get up about 5am tomorrow to go down for the Supernatural panel!
