Good day everyone!
Can't remember when I last updated... lemme check that. Whoa! October 14th!!
Well... uh. Yea. Since then I've moved in with Steve, we celebrated Christmas with our first tree together, I got to go to his cottage for Boxing day till the 28th, which was cool. I had only been there for summer/fall time so it nice to see everything shroud in snow.
Due to a pipe busting at the humane society, we got an emergency foster in the shape of a 5 month old kitten. After returning from Steve's cottage we brought her back to our place and she's with us still... adopted. So yes, we have a kitten.
My mum & brother picked her up while I was working and were told she was a boy. Having just watched the movie, they named her Wall-e. I saw her the next day and alerted them to the fact that she's no longer Wall-e. Her foster sheet said 'S' under gender - meaning spayed. So we renamed her Eva (like Wall-e says it - Eeeeva) and she's sleeping between Steve and I on our new couch. What a snuggly boo!
Here she is at my parent's house during Christmas
She is quite photogenic and regal, lol
We got her back to our apartment and she soon fit in. That is her favourite toy (mouse on a shoelace which has seen 10+ kittens) that she carries around.
She enjoyed help making our new coffee table
And was very good at what she did!
And since we weren't technically allowed to have a real tree in the apartment... we had to butcher it and put it in the trash late at night.
She was right along with us, making sure no needle was left behind!
Back at my parent's when she met Emilio (my sister's cat) officially for the first time...
He ended up jumping her and going for her throat... so she doesn't like him anymore and he keeps trying to play.
She loves attacking the giant snowflakes on cold days.
But mostly she lazes around on anything she can!
So there she is - a most exciting edition to our lives!
Um... yea. Still working at the same clinic. You can actually see it from the pic of Eva and the snowflakes. :D Don't know how long I'll be there. It's a small clinic, so there's not too too much room for growth. And my practice manager is a bitch, lol.
That's all I have to update with for now, I s'pose. It's good to read your posts again! I've missed catching up on things and find myself way behind the times if I just read one post a month or so!
Love and peace,
Jen
