And now a shameless plug for cuteness:
These are my four babies! Clockwise, starting from the top is: Timmy, Hyde, Jeckyl and Mr Mistoffelees (a character from Cats).
A close up of Timmy
An adorably gorgeous picture of Mr M atop the cat tree Steve made for them
Jeckyl, showing off his white splash that differentiates him from Hyde
And Hyde, who, ironically, likes to hide. No, we didn't know this when we named him
This is Timmy and I think Hyde. On Sunday Hyde was attacking everyone to get back at them for picking on him on Sat.
I like Jeckyl the most :D
And Timmy, but everyone likes Timmy the most.
And here's Steve. He napped a lot with them on the weekend. Every time he'd lay down, they'd follow suit. Most often Hyde, who's on his back.
And finally I introduced them to Adonis. Adonis is still being a douche, but I rightfully gave him a scare with Hyde.
And those are my babies for the next 2-3 weeks. I need to bring them to the OHS to get their first vaccines, too. They met Tammy on Sunday. At first they were all scared, but then were able to play around the kitchen while she lay in the basket or on the floor. Hyde doesn't like her in the least, though. Jeckyl's alright with her and pretty curious.
I'm hoping to get them used to dogs at least a little, so they may be more adoptable. Here's hoping!
Anywho. I'm getting a phone call from Guelph University today for an interview for their ICU department. I really, really, really hope I get this Field Placement. It would change my life. It would be such an amazing experience, and having them on my résumé would do wonders for my career. I'm super, super psyched.
Wish me luck!!
Jen
