I'm in love....with Xavier Naidoo's voice. I've casually listened to him for about five years now, but just recently have I become obsessed. It's the kind of school-girl obsession I used to get in middle and high school. Now in my adulthood I still go through phases where one band or singer becomes enormously overplayed in my car or on my iPod, but I've fallen so in love with Xavier's voice that I've developed an all-out teeny bopper crush on him. I can't help but remember when I asked Darren Smith in 2006 if he knew of Xavier (since he lived in Munich), and he responded with a very negative "Oh God...don't remind me." So maybe he isn't everyone's cup of tea, but there's no denying his talent (he was picked as the official performer for the 2006 World Cup, after all). Of course, it doesn't hurt that he's the best looking Indian/South African German guy I've ever seen.
