Bravo, Emmitt
As I stated yesterday, I felt the level of competition on Dancing with the Stars this season was such that the two finalists deserved to tie. However, Emmitt was my sentimental favorite, primarily for what I have seen of his personality, including his joie de vivre and graciousness. Plus, as my wife pointed out, the final results probably reflected an audience perception that he was "one of us" who learned gracefulness the hard way. The one-armed lift in his freestyle dance probably didn't hurt him in the voting, either.
