genting is so boring.....
This gonna be the most suay holiday i have ever been on. Was down with a bad sore throat on the first night at genting. drank lots of water in an attempt to make it better, and in the end had a hard time controlling my bladder through a performance. the 2nd day it became much worse. had a hard down swallowing down my breakfast. despite being sick, i still feel i had lots of energy. could go out to the theme park the whole day, except without all the screaming. the 3rd day was the worse. voice was totally hoarse and the glutton me still whack down lots of dim sum and that had made the bus journey back to singapore totally unbearable. see. it was a totally horrible experience, falling sick on the move.
speaking of genting, it was actually quite boring. most of the things there are rather expensive, especially food. the theme park doesn't have really have much things and the atmosphere is just so stale. compare it to Lotte world and everland in korea, genting theme park really lags behind. the whole layout is just so complicated. streets here and there and it really gives one headache when walking around cause everything seems so packed together. I got lost and walked into a Blush! store and that lady was giving me the weird look as i walk in through their store and out from another exit.
went to visit the casino also. gambling is really addictive, only if one has the capital to start with. I see people sitting there for hours, betting, winning and losing. For me, with such lousy luck, of course i lost money. One thing for sure, don't go to those jackpot machine. they are absoultely boring and they rip you off of your money, cent by cent. don't know why my mum can stare at the machine for hours. i gave up after one round.
the room is another thing to talk about. i did not manage to get the standard view room, so i had to settle for the standard room. initally i thought there isn't gonna be any window, but in fact, there is and the window faces the window of the opp room. so without the curtain drawn, it is free show for all. i did in fact catch some free show. not that i was a peeing tom, i happened to see someone changing in the room opp mine one floor down while i went to open the windows. but nothing much to see lah... nothing exciting...
it was really such a bore... doubt i wld go there in the near future......
