Special Request
So I accidentally came across this Rockapella cover of "Here Comes The Sun".
And now I wanna burn a CD for my morning drive. I want it to go with the theme of sunrise, dawn, morning, waking up, that stuff.
Thus far (in no order),
1. Rockapella's "Folgers in Your Cup" and "Here Comes The Sun"
2. Katrina And The Waves' "Walking on Sunshine"
3. Wham's "Wake Me up before You Go"
4. Jimmy Cliff's "I Can See Clearly Now"
5. Collective Soul's "Shine"
6. Weezer's "Island in The Sun"
I'll be wanting 19 songs total, so any other songs you think I should include? As you can see, my mind is stuck in the 80's, but I will want representation from most musical genres.
I will be pruning unwanted comments.
Anyway, my new job is pretty damn cool. But I kinda knew that coming in; my only misgiving was with the organization. I'm rather glad to be mistaken about them. Now if only the other shit in my life would fall in place too.
I had such a great day Friday at work that I felt good enough to talk to her. I think I spoke more words to her today than I have in the past month. Which brings us to the 1-month anniversary of my break-up.
Not to say I like her now. I still hate that I'm screwed and stuck in Ohio in the near future. I would love to hang out with the NJITechies again. Maybe meet people who are not being stupid about footballs teams that suck. But instead I moved and... now I'm screwed.
All for the fucking girl. This is what happens when I break my own rules. Then again, "the heart has reasons that Reason does not know."
