I had a lovely time last night. A young friend of ours finally turned 18 and we went to the BBQ place across the street for dinner. The resturaunt did a very nice job with our large group. Also, I need more brisket in my life. I also need a dead animal smoker. I have decided it is important.

I was given a customer service award at work, mostly because my best friend nominated me for doing something small for a customer. They gave me a certificate and a $25 gift card, which I promptly spent on my preferred brand of cheap acrylic yarn and a box of chocolates. Yes, my favorite brand of yarn is Bernat Super Saver. Yes, I have no shame. It's cheap and it washes up nicely in the machine. I plan on using the yarn to knit up a nice blanket when combined with some other yarn that I don't particularly like.

For today: get my internship application done for a nearer-to-home law firm, laundry, do the taxes and make some food because I am starving. Maybe there is some leftover bbq? I should study, but I don't know if that will happen today. The weekends just seems to get shorter and shorter.
