i knitted a pair of newborn longies a while back but made them with 100% superwash wool w/o thinking, so they won't really soak up any moisture, thus defeating the purpose of longies. they're perfectly good pants, though, and since a lot of you have had babies recently or will be soon, i thought i'd offer them up for sale before i unravel them and turn them into something else!
they're much greener in real life (the colorway is called "dublin"; it's kind of a dark grass green), extremely soft, and machine washable. inseam measures 7" and total length measures about 15". the pant legs can be rolled up or down to accommodate a growing baby. they're made to fit over a cloth diaper but i'm sure they'd work over a disposable, too, b/c the pattern i used is for trim-fitting longies. if anyone wants them i'll add a drawstring to the waist and would be happy to
sew on something sweet from felt. let's say $25, shipping included?
