From Ju-lay:

"List your top 5 favorite albums of all time. Not 5 you are listening to now and like a lot, but 5 albums that you believe are classics that have truly withstood the test of time, 5 albums you will always have in whatever cd collection you may have. They don't have to be in any order, but they can if you like."

Here's mine! They're not in order, because I don't usually have a distinct list of what I think of as the greatest, but here they are anyway.

1. "So" by Peter Gabriel
2. "Remain in Light" by Talking Heads
3. "Rain Dogs" by Tom Waits
4. "Sketches of Spain" by Miles Davis
5. "Bryter Layter" by Nick Drake

I just feel like adding two more just for my own sake.

6. "Moondance" by Van Morrison
7. "Doolittle" by Pixies

I am tagging EVERYONE ON MY FRIENDS LIST because I can.

...

And because I can (and 'cause I'm curious to boot), I'm starting my own as well. List your 7 favourite books of all time. (I just feel comfortable with the number 7. I don't know why, I just do.) They don't have to be classics, but they must be ones that have affected you in some distinct way.

Here are mine. And again, they're not in order.

1. The Prestige by Christopher Priest
2. The Once and Future King by T.H. White
3. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne
4. Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein
5. Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore
6. Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser
7. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

Again, ALL THOSE WHO ARE ON MY FRIENDS LIST are subsequently tagged.
