Happy Halloween!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I know I say this every year, but I LOVE HALLOWEEN! I hope you all have a fabulous one, if you celebrate it. Here are our Jack O'Lanterns -- this is the first year my oldest daughter was trusted with a sharp knife, and she did very well! I had to clean them out because obviously, pumpkin guts are disgusting to 12 year olds, but she carved both the end pumpkins. I only did the center one. We're making pumpkin seeds later on. Yum!
In other news, my Chewbacca is on the mend!!!!! I could not be more happy, as he is acting just like his old self again. It was bad for a while; the medicine the vet gave him for pain ended up giving him vomiting and diarrhea (oh god!) so we had to take him off of that, but the anti-inflammatory seems to have done the trick. He's not taking any medicine anymore and is doing fabulously well. Dodged a bullet there and that's a good thing, as I am not ready to let go of him just yet. Thank you all for the love. :0) And in still other news, this pic of Orlando freaking killed me ded. Honestly-- if ever a woman was losing her Orlando obsession, this would be enough to drag her back in kicking and screaming. Holy mother of pearl. Just look at him!
