Happy Sunday to everyone, and a big hug squishy hug to gemelliragazza for being my Eric Bana enabler!!!!! Teehee! OK, so I finally caved and joined Facebook, after my sister and a couple of friends have been hounding me for months...my twin had a good point when she said "Look, you're off work for THREE months, don't give me that sad story about being busy ( Read more... )

Facebook? No thanks! Haven't enough time now, like Gem, and have been carefully deleting all the invitations to join as they arrive. Spent some time with my friend Sam having a look-see just recently - she is on and has had a number of friends from the past contact her (which is a good thing she's found)but who has the time to go looking for anyone? God's.. I really couldn't be bothered, spending all that time searching through 1 billion names just to find someone I might know! You can lose whole YEARS of your life, constantly searching and keeping up with these people. I can't keep track of my inbox NOW...But there is a good side, and there are people worth finding again and if you have the time, I reckon it could be a lot of fun. Mind you, I tend to keep everyone I ever met that I liked in some form of contact with anyway, and those that I HAVE lost contact with probably did it on purpose! Must check out this street sign thingy - hang on:

You Are CURVES AHEAD
When you're confronted with a problem, you take it on immediately - but with your eyes wide open.
You deal with stress well. You take things as they come, and you don't panic.

In fact, you often enjoy challenging situations. Difficulty makes you feel alive.
You are alert and observant. You notice every twist and turn in the road.
What Street Sign Are You?

There you go...

You don't have to spend any time looking for anyone... the search program itself pulls up names alongside the edge of the screen, based on your school or friends of your friends. God knows I wouldn't have the time either to go about looking up names. It is neat to see pics of people you lost track of years ago, but definitely there is a bit of time commitment involved if you really want to re-establish contact with people. I guess I'll see how it goes. :-)

Wow, well, then, that sounds like it makes things a whole LOT easier - I like the sound of that, someone else doing the work for me (hee hee) - wonder if Sammy knows about this, will have to ask her, she sure didn't when I was over a couple of weeks ago. Will be fun catching up I'm sure - and looking at all the "current" pictures - that's the worst part I reckon - no one would recognize me!!! Have fun babe!
