Well, what can I say, I put in my vote for Kerry, and Bush won, fairly (as far as my knowledge goes) this time. It saddens me that our nation is so un-educated as to what will happen. The Republicans got their wish, they can rule the country, much to many peoples dismay. Dominating Congress, The House, Supreme Court, etc. The Republicans need to be careful what they wish for though. In 4 years when the decficit is in the tank, and the war is spiraling out of control, how will everyone view your party? I am sure a Democrat will be elected, and left with the mess. Just like always, and then about the time things start to look decent, Republicans will fuck it up. I am not proclaiming I am a Democrat, (though it is the only party i choose to side with at this time) I am just stating what I know from the past.

Supposedly, "Moral Value" was a big factor in exit polling, and Bush won that with 80-90%, somewhere in there. This fucking shocks me. Did everyone forget that we were lied to about the reasons we were going to war. I just do not see where reasoning in our societies mind has went to.

I suppose our country got what it "thinks" they want. Then again who am I to Judge them. I am sure they would say the same thing about me if Bush lost.

There are a truckload of things I hate about this.

Here I am in my early 20's, and I can already see the struggle i will have ahead of me, trying to make a decent living, making ends meet, and all of this with a college education. In some respects, people in my class of society are over educated, as far as book smarts and degrees go. Just because you have book smarts, does by no means declare that you have common sense. 50 years ago, the worst thing that could happen to someone like me is that i would have a kid, work in a factory, and end up owning a two story house, with one or two new vehicles, and making a good living. Now everyone is struggling to make it in the nation, pisses me off. Middle class families are pinned against the wall, trying to get by. Nothing is getting cheaper, and wages sure as the fuck are not going up. People tell me that the president has no weighing factor over the economy, and that may be true, WHEN WE ARE NOT AT WAR. I know we all hear about it, the gas issue, but the thing about it is that this issue effects the cost of everything we consume. Keep in mind, all without wage increases. I dont know, maybe i am telling you things you already know, but this is what is on my mind.

Tell me what you think guys. I am sorry for our nation.

4 more fucking years....

The Conservatives and Religious Right can say what they want. There is no denying that this generation has a voice and we want things to be different. Making history instead of repeating it.

As my roommate would say "It's Nation Time."
