(no subject)
Well, at a couple of points in time I was going to make updates... however at those times either LJ was down or something, I couldn't get connected to this site.
Firstly, I raised and won with the money, and am now sitting happily. I'll leave it there for a while, it's enough to b fairly easily comfortable on. Actually, I sorta want to spend some, but I'm too lazy to go and buy stuff, so...
Meanwhile, this house is now mine, with a mortgage, mwahaha. "Housewarming" on the 16th. Haven't quite got the hang of the organisation of things, but I'm sure it'll all work out quite nicely. Will have an investment property by then too (ppl say that the housing market is falling, but the analysts r no longer preaching that it's over-valued, so I consider this to b a good thing). Factoring in tax, the property will cost me -$5 a week for my first year. So on the 16th, I can also celebrate having a mill of assets, woot! Net worth far lower, but hey... I'm laughing all the way home. *My* home, that I *own*. Wow it's fun to say that.
In other news, if I weren't constantly coughing up crap, I'd think I weren't sick. Maybe I'll b able to go running around again on... not tonight... not Monday... not Tuesday. Plans getting in the way of exercise, pathetic.
Well, I'm off, would like to get some good sleep, have to go to the company new financial year direction meeting. Which will have some microsoft reps cos they love us so much ;)
