This does not say so much to me, "Come here so that I may spar with you in a manly fashion" as "Come here so I can fuck your brains out." Scott Caan, I love your acting choices; just saying.
Also, thinking about that teaser scene with Lori and Steve makes me wonder if it was originally written for Danny and Steve, and then it was decided it was too gay. Because "Are you giving me a compliment?" after a woman calls you hot is not to me a typical response, but it would be if you were talking to another guy. Or perhaps I am overthinking this and this is just more evidence that Steve does not usually think of girls In That Way. Still, while I don't hate Lori, I wish TPTB realized that they could actually give *both* her and Kono a certain number of lines in an ep - look, you can actually have TWO WOMEN with decent parts in a TV show, there's no actual LAW AGAINST IT. Sorry, did that make your pointy little head explode, PLenkov?
