If you ever have difficulty explaining the concept of privilege to someone who feels it's some artificial construct that doesn't have any relevance in the real world, just point them to this asshole (link courtesy of mirabile-dictu). Yeah, privilege means that when your grad school social experiment does serious harm to people who are literally risking their lives to fight for their rights, not only do you not have to say you're sorry, you get to say "fuck off, I'm going on holiday." FAIL, FAIL, FAIL.
