Fic recs and the ridiculousness that is Alex O'Loughlin.
So I'm still reeling from Merlin (and will hopefully do caps later today), but this morning sobelle sent me some links, which led me to some other links, and the next thing I knew I had spent an hour wallowing in fic and the fuckyeahhawaiifive0 tumblr and the ridiculousness that is Alex O'Loughlin. THANK YOU, AUSTRALIA, FOR BRINGING US A SILLY, SILLY MAN WITH A HOT, HOT BOD.
First, to get you warmed up, we have this interview with fellow Australians in which he indeed confirms he's getting a bit of gray at the temples.
Next, I think everyone's already seen this, but just in case, there's this interview with a local news station in which he talks about learning to surf and being adorably afraid of big waves.
And the pièce de résistance, this interview in which he demonstrates a) that he seems to charm the pants *koff* off every male co-star he comes in contact with; and b) that he is a giant, giant doofus. LOWER ASS SHELF, PEOPLE. I WILL SAY NO MORE. JUST WATCH.

I wanted angsty post-110 fic, and sweeneybird has provided with No Consolation (note: you have to be a member of hawaii5_0slash to see it). YAY FANDOM. \o/
