It's that time of year again, I guess.
Live Free or Die Hard
I think of all the fandoms I've been in, this one has to take the prize for most unexpected fandom ever, but I'm not complaining. I wrote three stories in a series, and continuing with the holiday theme of the DH movies, we have:
Life, Mid-Crisis - Valentine's Day
From a Rut to a Groove - Memorial Day
Interlude No. 1, or In-laws in D Flat Major - Thanksgiving
If I keep going in this, I'm eventually going to have to do Arbor Day, I suppose.
Stargate: Atlantis
The news on the ending of the show hit hard this year, and I'm still not fully recovered. But I'm a bit surprised I was as prolific as this:
Tree of Life - Lorne/Parrish, written for Aerly in the Sweet Charity auction.
Not In the Job Description - a short crackish piece inspired by Crys' drawing.
Drinking Game - set after the events of Quarantine and Outcast.
Just like Schrödinger's Cat - really written in 2007, but net-released in 2008. An everyone-thinks-they're-doing-it story.
Postcards From the Id - I seem to have fun playing around in Rodney's subconscious.
Get You Back - A little post-Trio snippet.
Superpower No. 16 - I was inspired by Crys again for this one.
The Art of Chilling Out - tipsy boys, for mcsmooch.
Tell It Like It Is - The boys visit Jeannie.
Hidden Depths - written for reel_sga, it's a Splash AU. Yes. You read that right.
Situation Normal - a short piece for mcsmooch.
Perfect Timing - an offworld festival gives John the boot in the ass he needs.
Good Neighbor Policy - written for mcshep_match. Curtainfic - literally.
Fantasy Life - another one in Rodney's head.
Ritual - the history of Beer on the Pier.
Coupling - the boys dress up for Hallowe'en. Inspired by unamaga and unaccompanied_g's marvelous crack.
Cultural Exchange - Rodney is told to get a hobby.
Depth of Field - Rodney and John in NYC. Total AU.
Bedtime Story - another short piece for mcsmooch.
If It's Wednesday, It Must be Pumpernickel - A short bit of crack inspired by real events.
Third Chance - A short piece written for crysothemis, who has been so patient in waiting for me to finish the livelongnmarry story I owe her. Hopefully this post will be updated with one more story by Dec 31! :)
And finally, I worked with tex a little on the mcshep_match story The Distance Between Two Points, cowrote some comment porn with thegrrrl2002 back in May, and wrote a teeny tiny story in which John is the peanut butter.
