*swoons* I love John Wayne so much... You've just made my day with that picture! Strangely I just bought a load of John Wayne films on DVD... freaky coincidence? Or upcoming 100th anniversary...?
I must now go and take that test...
:)

I have a deep and abiding love for John Wayne - can't help myself. He's just delicious.

I like John Wayne, though not as much as my mother. I absolutely adore Katharine Hepburn and she is one of the biggest reasons I'm proud to be from Connecticut. One interesting thing is that both of them would have turned 100 this month.

Yeah, TCM did a wonderful retrospective on KH, and this week they're going all out with the John Wayne movies. I LOVE that channel.

I've been staring at that picture of younger John Wayne and going nuts because I've seen that face recently. Who does he remind me of? It just came to me: Sean Bean. Whew! *brain slumps back with a relieved sigh*

There's also a British soccer player who was on one of these "pretty people" picspam posts recently, and it was SCARY how much he resembled young JW.

JOHN WAYNE!!! The reason why I'm obsessed with taking a trip to Africa (Hatari!), have wanted to go to Hawaii (Donovan's Reef) and maybe even Ireland, (The Quiet Man)

*sigh*

Heee. At least it's an obsession that gets you out of the house. :)

Durn.

If I had been home on May 12, I would have written a memorial for Kathryn Hepburn's centennary.

Great combo you've got going, there.

Julia, avoiding all sorts of things I should be doing.

I kind of wish they'd been in a film together earlier in their careers, but I'll take Rooster Cogburn. :)
