Why I love fandom, reason 43,205.
I did not have a great day, folks - let's just say J and I are slogging our way forward through some pretty deep drifts, holding one another up as we stumble - and just now as I checked my email, I remembered why I fucking love fandom so much.
First, a wonderful fan who I sent some DVDs to gifted me with some LJ paid time and lovely thank yous. That was quite enough to lift my spirits. And then, I got an email from whimsycatcher, who had previously contacted me about doing some artwork inspired by The Common Touch, my first Merlin story. The first piece is here, and you guys, IT IS PERFECT.
Thank you both so much - you'll never know how much this has helped. ♥
