Tuesday of suck becomes TUESDAY OF FABULOUS.
Guys, today was such a Tuesday. From the guy at my bus stop who continues to show he has no concept of "upwind" and "downwind", consistently standing at the end of the bus stop that will ensure the prevailing wind always blows his ciggy smoke over EVERYBODY ELSE (even when I would think he must wonder why I go out of my way to stand on the far side of him every time), to the longass day at work, it was clearly going to be a shitty day until THESE WONDERFUL THINGS HAPPENED:
1) gealach_ros posted GORGEOUS shots of Angel, Bradley, Colin and Katie from the Radio Times here and here. As others have said, HOLY SHIT WHY HAVE THEY NOT DONE THIS EVERY YEAR SINCE THE SHOW STARTED, and wow, talk about fodder for modern AUs (also, I cannot help laughing at Bradley's comment about fans descending upon him like zombies, because hahahahaha, I was one of those people! I TOO WAS ONE OF THE UNDEAD. And he's right, it was kind of scarily like that, only he was very polite to all of the brain-fanciers, being a well-brought-up English lad).
2) enednoviel posted an amazing Robbie-centric vid called The Ghosts That We Knew, and it is so heart-clenchy and beautiful and ajkhdljkadhflkdahkjh YES, ROBBIE LEWIS, GIVE ME ALL THE FEELINGS RIGHT NOW.
3) And then, at the end of my workday of suck, I think to myself, "Self, I wonder if there is any new, awesome Lewis fic?", and LO, mazarin221b IS THERE TO PROVIDE. A Burning Patience is smoking hot, sweet, and perfectly in character (I think I might have written this before regarding her first Lewis fic, but WHATEVER IT IS EQUALLY TRUE FOR THIS) and there is one more brilliant and kinky Lewis/Hathaway fic in the world and I AM PLEASED BY THIS.
So the verdict on Tuesday? YAY FOR FANGIRLS. \o/
