Rambling about the future

So I finally decided to stop being lame and lazy, and set up a monster account. Actually managed to find a lot of interesting looking possible jobs in the Boston area, which I have decided is my first choice since I have so many relatives out there. I guess I'll start applying to them this week. I mean, since I don't really have any classes or homework anymore, I might as well keep myself busy writing cover letters. If I'm not getting dragged around to do camera work, that is (It occurs to me that I haven't mentioned in the journal that one of my friends wrote a script, so now we're all making a movie. Wow, I've really been secretive about my life lately.)

Even if I do get something, I'd prefer to take a couple of months off before I start working. I mean, hell, once I start I'm going to be working constantly until I'm old, so why hurry? Helps that I don't have any loans, I guess. Besides, after that little jaunt out to California to visit Brian, I kind of want to try a little travelling while I still have the time. Nothing fancy, just a few adventures. It would probably be a good way to find interesting places to relocate for work later in life, too.

Well, we'll see what I do. No need to hurry, despite what most of my classmates seem to think. They're all a bit competitive, and most of them think that those few of us who haven't found jobs yet are crazy or lazy or something like that. But you know what, I have a feeling that in the end, I'm not going to regret taking my time. Just like I don't regret putting off pchem lab until this semester, which actually worked out pretty well. Haha, and they all thought it was a bad idea.
