(no subject)
Well, entertaining weekend, and stressful week.
Saturday morning at fair, I woke up very stuffy from allergy problems, and ended up getting sick from such allergies *blegh*
Sunday night, well,
lapis_lazuli615 and
malboshia did a good job of explaining that, and seeing how pretty muh every one of my livejournal friends were there, or heard about it already, we'll skip that scene.
So, Monday, we drove home. Yay for 4 hour car drives.
Yesterday, I was sent home from work cause I was still pretty sick, but I have to make up the hours later in the week.
And finally this morning, Chris calls from work. His grandfather is in the hospital dying. I got up early and we went to see him and to see Chris' mom. She wants Chris to be a pole bearer, so if the funeral is this weekend, he won't make it out to faire. And the truth is, we won't know what's going on until he passes. For now he's stable and in the hospital, but he won't make it another week. Chris was never close to this grandfather, but he has been supportive for his mom.
Can I have a day off somewhere to rest? Please?

And I just discovered Robert Asprin died last Thursday...
*sigh* no more mything adventures..
