so a few fridays ago was my BFA review where I defended my art in front of the 15 faculty at webster for 30 min or so. I was scared shitless and faced with a lot of bull shit questions, like "why are you even an artist and not just a political activist" etc. but I passed, so i can graduate in may which is fantastic news to be sure.
theres been a shit ton of great shows here lately. the roots put on a kick ass free show down town, and a bunch of great shows happeded at mississippi nighs...sufjan stevens, the new pornographers and destroyer, and sat night sleater kinney played. damn, girls with guitars are so badd ass.
