it's been a long time, but i haven't felt compelled to update. too many things have been going on and i just can't bring myself to spend time in front of a computer. especially now that it is spring. I always forget how dead i feel in winter until it becoes april and i feel so lively. there's always so many happy art events going on. friday was venus envy, a super fun time with the cutest lesbians everywhere and the biggest drum circle the lou's seen in a while. it was held on the 4000 block of manchester by the post office there and the gay bars. it was a blast, and some good artwork too. Lots of frolicking outside in forest park swinging at 4 am, 3am trips to the store for nails to hang art work, crazy women's ordination confrences and speakers that my mom was organizing...and then theres been a super long visitor and an unwanted car crash on lindbergh....(lindbergh's the devil anyway, and i was going that way to try to get my cell phone fixed-yet another evil)
but all in all i'm alive and not graduating so i don't have graduation stress, so i can't complaine at all.
i just am oozing love

if you are looking for an interesting documentry, rent "butterfly" about julia butterfly hill the woman who lived in the redwood tree in california for 2 years to protest the way the lumber industry was working (since maxom? took over pacific lumber) a really interesting well done film...and you get to see hippies dance...what more can you ask for? really
