Yay for me.
So I have anthropology 101 and we just turned in our first paper and had our first test. I must admit I was really afraid. I was so afraid that my paper was going to get a C or something. I only did it the day of class a few hours before it was due. It wasn't the required length. I did not turn in a hard copy. And it wasn't formatted correctly. Furthermore, I pulled the whole thing out of my ass, did not research for it, and did not edit it or re-check it . I did not even re-read it. And I got a 99% on it. I wonder sometimes if I really am smart or my teachers just smoke crack as they grade.
Test: I did not take notes during class. I did not take notes during films or slide presentations. I did not do the homework or any activites. I did not pick up the book until the day of the test. I looked over the study guide and skimmed the book and hand-outs literally 3 hours before the test. It was comprised of 2 in class essays of at least 3 pages in length and 2 mini-essays which one page was required. It all had to be fully formed and coherent. Again... 99%
Wtf. Do these people just sit around and do drugs and grade. I know it's just community college, but come on.
I am relieved though. I thought my GPA would seriously suffer from this class... but I guess not.
