Another dream
Er, I wouldn't be posting this here, but I don't have my laptop on me, so this is the closet i can get to recording the dream. Happened last night, and although it was pretty creepy, this isn't even the worst my dreams can get. It helped that in the dream, I thought I was watching a movie.
Begins with some everyday girl going to meet her boyfriend. He'd kind of a jerk, and awfully self-centered, and says he's thinking of breaking up with her. She's walking out with him somewhere, when they run into this weird-looking person. The person looks as if he has no skin, and all you can see is the muscles. He just stands there and stares at them, then says something, probably cheesy, like, 'It's beginning'. The boyfriend gets annoyed at the dude and tells him to piss off. The guy just continues staring, so the boyfriend goes to punch him. He's drawing his fist back, when the guy (zombie!) bites him. He's all 'wtf?' then falls to the ground, convulsing. When he gets up, he has the same look as the other zombie. The girl is understandably frightened out of her mind, and tries to run away, which they let her. The zombies are stronger and faster than regular humans, and when they're changed into zombies, the people's skin goes mostly clear so you can see the muscles and ligaments underneath. They are able to get into the water supply, and change quite a few people that way. They essentially change almost everyone in the world, but a select few who have been able to stay away. There's a group of 5 scientists, headed by a blond chick (friendly and funny, but can be very serious when the situation allows) who looks like some actor I can't put my finger on, the girl at the beginning, and the MC is a mousy girl with long black hair and glasses. They are able to get into a secured room and finish a cure they're working on. They finish it, but they have to get to a special point in the city (which I think is New York), and so they call in the army, or what's left of it. They send the Mousy girl because she's the best runner of all of them, she knows how to work the device the best, and another reason they don't state yet. They rest of the scientists have to protect her from the other zombies, and go all ninja on them. All of them are changed. When the girl gets into the military vehicle, she's sitting next to one of the heads. She asks him to kill her, if she gets bitten, because she doesn't want to become like one of them. He agrees. They get mostly to their destination, when they start hearing things on the outside of the tank. They all know that it's the zombies, and that they will eventually get inside. When they do, there's fighting all around, but they're able to make it to the destination. Just as they do, the MC gets bitten, and then turns on the device. She still asks the man to kill her, because she won't turn back due to the amount of the cure she's already been exposed too, which makes her immune. So he kills her, and then is turned himself. A few seconds after, there's some kind of pseudo-explosion, where nothing really explodes but a harmless shockwave emits from the device and goes around the world. It knocks everyone out. When they awake, they're back to normal, and one half of them remember what happened. Goes out to a wide view of the city, which is falling apart and on fire, like it had just been nuked or something. Like So, but more fire along with it, and in the background there is a news reporter saying that they haven't found the source of the outbraking, and yada-yada-yada. It goes back to a few weeks later, when the girl from the beginning is meeting up with the boyfriend again. She comes inside and he gives her a large bouquet of flowers and is all sweet-talking. She's not impressed. Even less so when he asks her if she was in the middle of it all, and what it was like being one of the scientists who saved the world, and just attempting to be with her for her fame. She dumps water on him, and leaves. Walks out into the sun in a renovated area of the city, then keeps on her day. END MOVIE.
