:) Here. 120 words in total. End of Days oriented.
Cold
Whenever he gasped in that first breath, that sudden flood of air and life, his lungs always burned for a few moments. It was cold. So cold it cut at his throat and clawed its way into his insides, ripping and tearing - but just for a few seconds. Then the cold spread out through his body and dissipated into the surrounding air. A matter of moments and he would be warm again. That was how it worked. Always. He knew that.
But Ianto knew better.
And Jack, staggering, with help, out of the collapsing Hub, and unable to shake the bone-deep, aching coldness, thanked every god he could think of that Ianto knew to grab his coat as they went.

Cup of Coffee and an Ice Cream“Coffee?” one of the men said cheerfully, bringing in a tray with three cups on it, giving one to his fellow interviewer (interrogator, more like) and putting another on the table in front of Tosh. She was about to shake her head when she remembered how long it had been since she’d drunk anything, and picked up the cup. As soon as they let her out of here she’d do her duty as a good little scientist and report back to UNIT with everything she’d learned about Torchwood from her questioning today

Tosh leaned on the railing, frowning at the Bay, and wondered how the others were getting along. She was still a little annoyed that Jack had taken the rest of the team off on a two-day trip hunting a reported alien in Norfolk, but left her behind. He’d told her to man the fort and keep an eye out for anything unusual, then in the same breath said he’d get round to reading her report on the proposed Blaidd Drwg nuclear power plant when he got back from the trip, and she wasn’t to take any action without consulting him first.
This wasn’t the autonomy and decision-making and “valued opinion” she’d been promised.
In quite a huff, she stared moodily out at the water, getting so lost in her thoughts that she barely even heard the gulls screeching incredibly loudly nearby until she realised that of course there were no gulls, and it wasn’t even the fake call that scared them off that she was hearing. By the time she realised that, the sound had stopped

Um. This reached 400 words very quickly and then I had to rein it in. XD Enjoy.
Well Trained
Ianto woke up to find Jack kneeling over him, looking concerned.
“What happened?” he muttered, after a few seconds’ pause, in which he managed to work out that he was lying on the bathroom floor.
“You fainted,” Jack told him, pulling him into a sitting position and then picking him up and carrying him back through to the bedroom, while the walls spun and Ianto closed his eyes again with a groan.
He was vaguely aware of Jack gently putting him back to bed and tucking the covers around him, muttering, “Scared me half to death. Think you can go wandering around when you haven’t eaten in days? You know you’re too weak at the moment
