On Monday, I went to the last McFly concert they did here in Argentina. I just can't believe it, it was amazing!!! I've never screamed, laughed and cried so much in on night in my life. It was absolutly perfect.
First of all, I thought I was going to be really far away because the place was a very small venue and there were no seats but luckily we arrived just as they were opening the doors. The concert started at 9.30 and I was already inside at 7.30. OH.MY.GOD. I have never been so squashed, pushed and stepped on in my life. All the concerts I've been to (which are not many) were all in theatres with seats so everyone had their room and their personal space was respected. Not here. I thought I was about to faint there, it was so hot and everyone was yelling and pushing. I spent a long hour like that and I was begining to regret my decision. Guys, I'm an old woman already, I'm not up to this kind of experiences :P
Luckily, my friend Melisa, who I had lost after all the pushing and moving around, found a place which was not as close to the stage but at least we could move around and there was a fan near us to keep the air a little more fresh.
Let me tell you that these boys are the best entertainers I have ever seen. (The only one that can come close to them is Jason Mraz, right Ju? :P) I disliked their last album a lot so my expectations were really low and I doubted a few times whether or not I should go. Man, was I wrong! Not only did the play most of their old songs but they also interacted with the audience a lot. It was really cute seeing them trying to get over the language barrier and I think that's why it led Danny to do this

Who am I kidding? That man is insane!! He would have done that even if people could understand him.
I also gained a lot of respect for them because they actually care about their fans, or at least they pretended to very well. They kept asking the girls in the front if they were alright, if they needed water. Tom, who was incredibly sick poor guy, kept apologizing for his voice cracking often.
(That's him half an hour the show, poor thing)
Really, I was amazed by their attitude towards us. Once while Tom and Danny were talking, Dougie came closer to the people and of course all the girls wanted to touch them and I don't know what so they were all squashed in the front at one point. That left huuuuge space between the front part of the audience and where I was. I started doing those hearty signs with my hands to all of them, like the little fangirl that I am and Harry did the same to me! JSDFHJSD Well, maybe he just did it to that section but whatever, let me dream that he did it as a response to mine :P:P
Finally, THEY ARE GORGEOUS!! Really, I know this sounds so superficial (I'm proud to say that I liked them way before I actually saw a picture of them) but I have never seen men so pretty as them. Dougie!
Damn! He's flawless! Unfortunately, there were a lot of young girls who were also aware of this and kept yelling the most nasty things I have ever heard and they were like 12-13! That made me sad, first because I don't think girls should be that horny at such a young age and second, and most importantly, it made me sad because McFly may think that "fans" are only there because they have crushes on them. That's the truth for most of the girls there and it is really unfair to them because, all biasim aside, they are really talented.
Here are some pictures! I didn't take much. In fact I didn't any of these, Meli did all the work because I didn't know what to do with myself. Anyways, I didn't take much because I recorded a lot of things and the memory stick was full halfway through the concert. Also, I tried to edit them but they still look like crap. Blame me, my camara and the poor lighting in the place.
Look at my beautiful husband! Yeah, whatever let me dream.
I know nobody would care about this but I needed to write this down to come back to it from time to time :P
