Monday
Ya know....today is day 1 of me sitting over at the front desk. It's been a crazy day and NONE of it has to do with customers. It's the people I work with. I just have to shake my head and pray to the Lord that someone slaps them all and SOMEONE realizes that it's not MY JOB to train the new girl. It should be a team effort. I'm extremely disappointed in my coworkers. I almost cried and then thought to myself, no way! I'm stronger than they are. They're lazy, into themselves, and only care about what's good for THEM. I'm really disappointed in one in particular because it's the coworker I've always looked up to. =/
Just had to vent that out so I don't accidentally say that all out loud.
I'm still disgusted that I didn't get a pay increase for my new job stuff but apparently, I should've been doing this all along. I'm still so confused by that.
I'm ready to get a new career....then I think, wow, 2 more years until I get 5 more vacation days (yes, that means something to me lol) and I LOVE my customers. I'm happy here except for what I wrote about in paragraph one.

Aside from that drama, I seriously had one of the best weekends EVER!
Saturday, I woke up early....hit up KOHL's with my giftcard and bought a new shirt for Mikey to wear to work and one for me (wearing it now...I'm into the ruffle trend!). Also, these sparkly purple & black flip flops =D
Then headed to tanning followed by a nice, long walk in the park. It was gorgeous outside and I didn't fell like wasting time in the gym. I met 7 doggies! I stopped to talk to each one! cuteeee!
Then went home to shower, pick up my friend Jessica & we headed up to Freehold Raceway to place bets on the DERBY horses!! (she wound up winning!) Played a few bucks on a race that was going on while we were there. :)
Then I took her to lunch at JERSEY FREEZE, which I haven't been to in AGES. It was my childhood restaurant. GOOGLE IT!
It felt SO good to have one of their hot dogs, some waffle fries and then some homemade coffee ice cream. Jessica is good company. She seemed so happy to be out of her house for the day!
Went home, cleaned a bit and our friends Anthony and Steph (We're in their wedding in September) came over to watch the Derby with us! FUN! they stayed too long but it's all good.
Sunday, I slept IN!! I couldn't get up! Mikey went out for bagels (which turned out to be a disaster....everyone else did that on Mother's Day!) and we just hung out. Took a walk around the neighborhood and the kitties gave me a Mother's Day card =D
Had dinner at Mannino's with Mikey's family last night and his mom loved the chocolate covered pretzels I got her. Nom, nom, nom.
Headed home to watch a rerun of True Blood & then the Jerseylicious reunion special. Shush, makes me happy. =P
It was just a GOOD weekend.
This coming weekend is a different story...I'll be running around, working at a work event (gag me) and then a cake tasting party for my friend that is starting her own business and then celebrating my dad's birthday on Sunday. =/
Hopefully, this week will go smoothly. Tomorrow night, we have free front row tix to a Trenton Thunder ballgame. And it's dollar dog night so Mikey's happy about cheap hot dogs! lol
Time to pack up for the day. AMEN!!!!!!!!!
