End of the Beginner (Sample pack)

I finally reached the end of my Beginner's Sampler Pack of perfumes about a week ago. I'm already starting to forget some of my reactions to some of the scents, so I really need to get these last 7 reviews down

Aldehydic:
Chanel No. 5 EDP -- 2.5 of 5 -- So this is the perfume that changed the whole face of perfume, back when it was first introduced in the 30s. It's supposed to be well-loved by pretty much every classic-style woman. I don't like it. It is everything that I dislike in perfume -- the sense of smelling like nothing in particular, just perfume. The overwhelming smell of alcohol. I had high hopes for No. 5. Alas! Not for me. I can't entirely discount it though, because it could still work in some situations.

Piguet Baghari -- 1 of 5 -- See review of Chanel no. 5, except even more, and without all the positive name association. I think the Aldehydic category is not for me.

Citrus:
Hermes Eau d'Orange Vert -- 2.5 of 5 -- It lives up to its name, and smells like oranges, but it also reminds me of the way goo gone smells. Young wasn't really a fan either.

L'Artisan Un Zeste d'Ete -- 3 of 5 -- This is cleaner than the Orange scent, more purely citrus and sparkling and summery. Still, the lemony-ness reminds me of household cleaners. I feel like citrus is probably something I could get into if it weren't for all the associations with cleaning products. Maybe if I stick to grapefruit and lime ...

Oceanic/Marine:
Acqua di Parma Quercia Marina -- 5 of 5 -- Spicy and woody with a hint of the ocean, it smells like being on a sailboat. It's a little on the masculine side, but both Young and I love it. A keeper for sure. It makes me want to explore this note more, but I can't find much more info on it on the website.

Gourmand:
Hermes Ambre Narguile -- 3 of 5 -- It smells like cinnamon and nutmeg, and a little like baking and a little like chocolate. The gourmand note is supposed to smell of edibles. It makes me crave chocolate all day, and while it's pleasant, it's not something I'd wear regularly. It also doesn't make me especially curious about the rest of the gourmand group.

Realistic:
CB I Hate Perfume At the Beach -- 4 of 5 -- Extremely evocative of my memories of being in the Keys. This is exactly how all of our clothes smelled after we got back from Florida. Of salt and rotting seaweed and clean breezes and sunshine. It's not exactly the most pleasant of scents, but it's such a special, perfect smell, that while I doubt I'll buy any more of it, I'll keep this sample for special occasions. Also, with this smelling exactly like being at the beach, I want to sample some other realistic scents.
