(no subject)
Stuff is here! Now I have to unpack it! My room is rather deat-death, but a much more spread-out and more organized deat-death than ever was at Hollins. We have groceries. I bought towels. I feel like a grownup.
I went and looked at scooters. It's so cute! I'm hoping I get financing.
I keep overestimating my expenses and thinking I will have less money than I do, which I suppose is a good thing so I'm not like CRAP NO MONEY. Cause that sucks.
I can have my bunny! For free! This place is pretty awesome.
There's mimosa out front just for me. (They smell like Alabama. The part that's not manure of course.) And a crepe myrtle for Seish. (It doesn't look like a crepe, neither does it grow crepes unfortunately.)
It's raining a lot, but that's ok, because it's real rain. Not the silly rain they get in Roanoke where it spinkles for a couple hours and then everything floods. No, I guess we're far enough from the mountains that it actually rains here.
Fuuma and Seish are at the job fair now. I hope they get jobs. I have money, but not that much.
It's sad that I have to unpack and stuff. I need the money so I need to work, but I don't have the time to pick up more shifts because I need to unpack.
That's ok, though. I have good monies on the upcoming paycheck from last week. Seven hours of overtime even. Not sure how I managed that. Probably from my usual "stay until everything gets done" policy, whereas most workers have a "leave as soon as is humanly possible" policy. I always get someone to TELL me I can go, rather than just saying "meh, I think I can go now" like most do. I stay at least an hour longer than everyone else. Longer if I work the next day and I want everything set up really well in case we're busy.
Taxes suck. They took $100 out of my last paycheck just in stinking taxes. I better get all of that back later.
I need a bed, man. I have ordered an air mattress because the floor hurts. Most of my back is feeling better than ever, but my neck is extremely annoyed at me. I'm gonna go take some Aleve now. More to come later!
