This is very true. I am always shocked when I watch even the Today Show, which is thought to be a bipartisan (or even liberal haha) network, and they spend 5 minutes on the international news, and another 2 on the war, economy, etc. and then spend the next two hours on the Michael Jackson case.They can't show the coffins of the dead soldiers because that would make the war more real and close to home and people would actually have to think about the consequences of a war, yet we can hear all the sordid details of Kobe's sex affairs and watch people's arms get bitten off by alligators. It is no wonder that people's priorities are screwed up.
