So I have to announce that I've developed a new obsession: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'm sorry. But folks such as 
lauzeta, you might enjoy it too - there is severe snarkiness and humour, and I was delighted to discover that there's also an incredible amount of time spent swanning around in billowy black trenchcoats by the villains and angst-ridden heroes. But anyway: on my break at Chapters today I was sneakily reading an essay in a Buffy-studies book when I came across a quote something like, 'see CW Marshall's article on Aeneas and Giles in the online journal, Slayage'. !!!!! I have tracked down this journal article here. (Scroll down until you find it, if you're interested.) Apparently this article is frequently cited, judging by the number of times it's shown up in bibliographies on Google.
For those who've forgotten or didn't have him, Toph Marshall was our Classical Comedy prof who returned my purse and danced around in class, and who also gave a lecture on Ovid's Metamorphoses and the Sandman comics by Neil Gaiman two years ago. Possibly now officially the Best Prof Ever. :-) Squee.
