For a friend. ;)
So. You like AJ Styles. That is awesome.
thestylesclash is a wonderful little place for all things
AJ. There's a pic of the day, Impact/PPV results and vid of the
day/week will be there soon. It's also the place to post AJ-related
graphics and fics.
It's all AJ, all the time. So there's only one
question you have to ask yourself: Do I want to follow them down the
rabbit hole?

Meme:
[01] Do you have the guts to answer these questions and re-post as The Controversial Survey?
Would you have found it if I didn't? ;)
[02] Would you do meth if it was legalized?
No. Meth isn't healthy and it isn't fun. I'm just glad it's not as big a deal here as it is in the States, because that shit is scary. Another reason to legalize weed, it seems, because we don't have to go for the cheapest and easiest drugs to try.
[03] Abortion: for or against it?
For. A woman should have the right to control what happens to their body.
[04] Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
This question sounds very old, or maybe the person who wrote it is a bit behind the times. I'm not even going to bother answering it, it's that stupid.
[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
Absolutely not. We should not mess with life or death, I don't think we have the right. (And no, I'm not religious.) Besides, being locked up for life is a big enough punishment for them. Though I do believe we should make it worse by removing any and all comforts they might have.
[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
*grins* It's already legal, but yes I believe it should be legalized everywhere.
[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
For. If adults want to have consensual sex, then have it.
[08] Do you believe in God?
No, I do not, but have been raised as a Christian and have no ill-will towards any religion whatsoever. ^^
[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Already is, here. Again, I think it should be anywhere.
[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Lol, it's lovely how international this meme is. You can definitely tell it was written by an American. XD
Anyway, if things were arranged in a better fashion then they wouldn't have to do anything illegally. It has to come from both sides.
[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
Definitely not. That wouldn't be good on either should.
[12] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
The age for drinking alcohol is sixteen here. : P
[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
Yes. Get the fuck out, it is none of our business and was begun under falsehood.
[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
Clearly this meme wasn't taking my country into account when it was created, because all this shit is legal. : P Euthenasia has been legal for quite a while now. However, it should only be done by a physician and after consent from patient or family member when the patient is unable to decide.
[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
No. There are better ways to discipline.
[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Yeah, sure. As I would with my own flag. It's not the flag that matters, it what it stands for and that is in the heart and mind, not a piece of cloth. People burning our flag would make me - and most of my fellow countrymen - laugh and roll our eyes. *shrug*
[17] Who do you think would make a better president? McCain or Obama?
I can't vote in the States, but if I could I'd vote for Obama. For the same reason as Penny did, because I disagree with McCain, his people, and most of all, his point of view. Even Obama is very right for Dutch standards, but he's much better than McCain seems to be.
[18] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Nah, I think most of this was expected anyway.

Wrestling Fandom:
One of the yahoo groups I'm a part of is discussing reviewing again. I think it's a pity how people have gotten to the point where they won't review any more because they don't get a reply by the author on it. It's the complete opposite, really, of what happened earlier, where people weren't reviewing because specific authors weren't doing so.
Which is a shame, on both ends. People should review more and writers should make sure to thank those that did. It's only fair, right?

I wish I had more to post, but I've become boring. *sad sigh*

Edit: I found something! Old drabbles for all_unwritten that I never posted here. (Or, at least, I don't think so... If I did...just read it twice. ;))
It was unmistakably quiet out. Aside from the faraway sound of cars - distant, not really there - and the soft sound of raindrops hitting the roof, there was nothing to be distracted by.
The car had gotten cold, the engine no longer running, and Rob sat huddled in his jacket. Next to him, staring straight ahead, sat his ever-silent friend. Neither spoke, neither needed to, content to just sit there and relish in the peace they so rarely had.
The forest they'd parked the car in was just coming alive, and it was one of the few bonusses to having to be up so early. Their pitstop, needing to eat breakfast, had finally brought them to a place where neither man became agitated. Sabu didn't have to deal with people, and Rob could just enjoy the calm. It worked.
"So, I guess you had a talk with Vince?"
It wasn't often that Sabu broke the silence to strike up conversation, but Rob was pleasantly surprised. Obviously the man was comfortable, which struck a cord. Rob had never expected to be so touched by so little.
"Yeah. He was mad, of course, but I convinced him to keep you," Rob commented, the heated conversation still at the back of his mind. He'd crossed many a line to convince Vince to not fire his troublesome friend. "For now you're scrapped from the match, but you'll get to do a backstage skit."
An annoyed murmur, the serenity disturbed by the angry gnashing of teeth.
"I'm sorry, it's all I could do," he hurried to say.
Luckily Sabu seemed to calm down again, simply staring ahead. It allowed Rob to think things over. Once again he'd stood up to Vince. So many times, especially lately, that had been for Sabu. And he knew why.
He'd done all he could do, but Rob also knew that he'd do so much more. If only Sabu'd ask him to.

It was dangerous out. The whipping of branches and creaking of trees spoke of accidents, of wood falling and crushing bone, of feet slipping on fallen leaves. They'd stayed inside because of it, stuck in their safe haven, sharp eyes watching as the wind tore at the countryside.
It wasn't often that the two spent any time in a place such as this, where everyone knew each other and they were mere strangers passing by. No one would recognize them, not even if they wanted them to, and they were too far from the airport they should have been at.
However, they'd been caught off-guard, chased down by the storm they hadn't seen coming. Much grumbling later, with even their nerves rattled to the point of them fleeing the car, they had found a hotel that looked sturdy enough to shelter them for the night.
"Now what do we do?"
Rob shrugged, eyes glued to the mess outside. There were no trees nearby, but the long grass near the building was flying through the air. It reminded him of movies, and stories of hurricanes, causing nervous shudders.
"You're not scared, are you?" came the grumpy question, Sabu pausing next to him, checking to see what Rob was looking at.
"I don't like storms," Rob answered calmly, though inside he was cringing. A huge sigh, derisive, yet amused, and Sabu crossed his arms.
"This is nothing."
Rob sighed. "I still don't like it."
An incomprehensible murmur to his left, but Rob didn't look away. The cracking outside startled him, a piece of wood flying by, and he stepped back in fright. Sabu must have noticed, because there was soft laughter. Trust his partner to be amused at something like this.
"Fuck, don't be silly. Nothing's going to happen," he whispered, and this time Rob turned to him, especially when a hand grabbed at his jacket. "Besides," the man continued, "Look on the bright side..."
Rob shivered as a hand made it under his shirt, caressing soft skin. He attempted to glare, though secretly he was rather touched that Sabu would make such an obvious attempt at distracting him. Usually the man wouldn't want to sound concerned, or seem like he cared, but tonight was different. Somehow.
A mouth next to his ear, wind and fear long forgotten. "With all this noise." Another pause. "No one will hear us."
A content sigh, and for once Rob allowed Sabu to take care of him. It didn't often happen. If only it happened more.

There was something Rob had realised ages ago. Ever since the first time he'd met his friend, he had felt that uneasy flutter in his stomach. It was the beginnings of idolizing, the beginnings of something he couldn't explain, and he'd known then and there that their friendship could never be simple.
He'd been so young, barely eighteen, when they'd met, that even now he wondered if the infatuation had been born only because he admired Sabu so. Indeed, very little about the man could ever be described as pleasant, from scowling features to biting words, and yet there'd instantly been that attraction. It made no sense to anyone but him.
So many times he'd caught himself staring, caught himself imagining things that he should not be thinking about, and over the years the crush had developed into a mindnumbing want. To be respected by him, to be accepted by him, to be treated as someone special.
And even now, as he watched with envy as yet another young kid looked up at Sabu in adoration, he knew he'd sell his soul to be what Sabu wanted. He'd give everything.
