I'm feeling talkative today
First off I want to say hi to the new people on my flist. Friending Memes are pretty cool. They also make me realize how big this fandom really is.
I just juiced like 15 lemons. Our lemon tree is bursting with lemons and I love putting lemon juice in my diet coke (I totally just typed 'cock') and so I went outside and picked a bunch. It made the whole house smell lemony and it's delicious. I really wanted to make a lemon pound cake but I was too slow and now I have a chicken in the oven so maybe I'll wait until tomorrow.
Last night I had a dream that my dad was alive and I was back working in his restaurant and he was super excited about it because I now knew about restaurants and managing and all that. I woke with the overwhelming urge to want my own diner. I've actually been thinking about this for a while since I miss the diners in NY AND Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is like my favorite show on Food Network and listening to these people talk about how they just went in and did it... it's totally been in my brain. I don't know if this is something that will happen in the future but I've sort of been dreaming about it. I just know that I've embraced my love for cooking and baking for people lately which I should since that's what I went to school for. I just have to figure out the environment to do it in that will make me love going to work everyday. I've been pondering becoming a private chef.
I am also pretty full of the TAI love lately. The other day I got in a snit and had to watch all the episodes of TAI TV because I've never seen them. I found them on Youtube and watched the first and second seasons. I'm up to episode 19 of the 3rd season and I had to take a break for fear of Adam T. Siska overdose. It's kind of funny because barely anyone on my flist talks about them but TAI has been my favorite from the beginning. They were the band that got me into this fandom when I thought MCR was that silly little goth band. Sometimes I think they are overlooked but Fast Times at Barrington High is an amazing record and everyone should indulge in it. I'm dying because William and Sisky are doing this acoustic tour with Ian and Singer and they are in Poughkeepsie today at the Hot Topic and it just kills me. Good thing about all of this, Beckett is updating his journal and twitter like everyday and it's so very amusing.
This is probably a strange question but is there anyone out there who is a fan of bandom and Gilmore Girls? I've recently discovered the show and I have an idea and I've been talking about it with people but I'd like to bounce some ideas off someone who is a fan of the show and bandom.
