Hey everybody, I know many of you have seen a similar message from our mutual friends but just so I know we're not missing anyone let me tell you about Ride for the Feast 2007.
This year I am the volunteer coordinator for the Ride--a two day, 140 mile bike ride benefiting
Moveable Feast of Maryland.
Moveable Feast is an incredible organization based in Baltimore. They provide hot meals, groceries, and nutritional counseling to homebound HIV/AIDS and breast cancer patients and their families. Moveable Feast also helps provide shuttle service to the homeless population of Baltimore, as well as providing job training and marketable skills to people who need it. This year we need people to support the Ride more than ever before because Moveable Feast lost a substantial part of their funding due to cuts in the Ryan White Care Act.
I am helping to raise funds as part of Team Atomic. You can visit our
team website here and make a secure, tax-deductible donation to the team as a whole or
here to make a donation to me individually. Either way, the money goes to the same place, and you're supporting a great cause.
And, if you’re in the area and are interested in volunteering for the Ride or coming to any of our many Team fundraising events in the next couple of months, email me at my profile address.
Thank you!!
