Inspiration has struck. Well, it struck a while ago. Now I'm touching up my half-formed outline for the first part of my inspiration and I should be good to go. Here is a summary of my new novel, tentatively titled HEIRESS:
Nalraeda: a land crushed by former corrupt rulers that's slowly regaining the peace it was once renowned for, a peace that keeps its people looking upward day to day, pure and unbroken.
Joan: the one who broke it.
Okay, maybe a bad summary. But it's a looot of story to fit into one snippet, so it'll have to do. And so far, here's the word count meter for Act One, the first chunk of the story. I feel safer doing it in Acts.

So I'm just writing away, trying not to care too much if the writing is suckish. Other than the actual writing, the only thing I could complain about so far would be the fact that the first chap is 5k words; a ltitle long. But I'm not so worried about that for now...as far as I know, it's a good sign.
