homage
pride
in a nation

resounding
victory
songs
abound to Nike

but at what cost?
where lies this pain?
bodies broken
boundaries gained

Nike triumphant
Valkyries sained
a thousand souls
in sacrifice laid
at War's feet
in red rain

but at what cost?
there lies this pain
mankind broken
perdition gained

dear gods, the cost
of so much pain
