The rare update

It has been a sad me. Started a new job 15 months ago, and for close to 15 months now, all my horsing stuff has been put on hold!
Just the bare basics of feeding, drenching, etc etc. No competing, showing, barely any riding.
I thought that things would settle down at work in November, when they started another full-time position in the photolab, but with the Christmas and Summer rush, I was still rushed off my feet, stressed to my eyeballs, and exhausted to boot.
February hit (a few months ago now) my ability to cope wore REALLY thin. Too thin. The decision was made then, to find myself a job that actually enabled me to live.
I work to be able to enjoy my life and my horses, and this job made that impossible.

Things at work haven't really gotten any better since, so now I have lined up a new job. After working in photolabs and doing photography type stuff for over 10 years now, a change of scene is probably just what I need.
3 more days at the lab, one week off, and then I start my new job at a dairy farm!

Completely different industry, completely different environment, completely different work!
There are many pluses here. Closer to home, so closer to my animals :) More time for horses, apart from during calving and AI-ing, but that's only a small-ish segment of the year. More sunshine and more fresh air!

A step towards a better life for me, my man, and our animals.
And THEN I will have more time to update, and more to update about!
